In the developing and changing world, the importance of knowing a foreign language is increasing day by day. This reveals the need to evaluate the up-to-dateness and adequacy of the materials used in foreign language teaching. Textbooks, which have an important role in foreign language teaching, should be evaluated from time to time and necessary improvement studies should be carried out. The purpose of this research is to evaluate the textbook called “That’s It” used in the sixthgrade English lesson in secondary school, according to the opinions of the teachers. For this purpose, the opinions of the teachers attending the sixth-grade English class in Konya were consulted. The Embedded Design, which is one of the mixed method designs, was used in the research. The data of the study were collected by using the “Evaluation Questionnaire for the Sixth-Grade English Textbook in Secondary School in Terms of Teachers’ Views” developed by the researcher. Quantitative data of the study were collected through 20 questionnaire items, and qualitative data were collected through short-answer questions. A total of 145 English teachers voluntarily participated in the study. Descriptive statistics such as percentage (%) and frequency (f) were used in the analysis of quantitative data. Qualitative data were analyzed using the content analysis method. According to the results of the research, it was seen that English teachers generally had moderately positive opinions about the sixth-grade English textbook. It was determined that most of the teachers found the content in the textbook very little appropriate in terms of the level of encouraging students to learn language and the suitability of the textbook for long-term use.
