Today, one of the issues concerning educational institutions and their administrators closely is change. In order to respond to the demands of the stakeholders, educational institutions should adapt effectively to the changes in the environment. Successful completion of this process depends mostly on the existence of administrators with leadership qualities who perceive change as an indispensable part of institutional life. This article aims to define the concept of organizational change and summarize the issues of identification of change need, organizational change process, methods of change and resistance to change and finally focus on the role of educational leaders in the change process.
