The purpose of this study is to investigate self-confidence of the instructors in the faculty of education in their technological pedagogical content knowledge in terms of different variables. The sample of this study is determined by convenient sampling as 329 instructors teaching in the faculty of education in Turkey universities. Research data were collected through online or printed copies of the “Self Confidence in Technological Content Knowledge Survey” which was originally developed by Graham, Burgoyne, Cantrell, Smith, St. Clair and Harris (2009) and adopted to Turkish by Timur and Tasar (2011). In order to understand if the mean scores for survey sub-dimensions change based on gender and educational background, independent samples t-test, and to see if these mean scores change based on the subject area and experience, one-way ANOVA were conducted. According to the results of the study, self-confidence of instructors in TPACK significantly changes according to their subject areas and experience, on the other hand, there is no significant difference on the basis of gender and educational background.
