In this study, it was aimed to investigate the effects of the social system features on the diffusion of innovation during the E-School Project adoption in the basis of Technology Acceptance Model (Davis, 1989) and Diffusion of Innovations Theory (Rogers, 2003). The study group comprised of 21 teachers chosen from three schools in 2008-2009 school year, 3 managers charged in schools and the Branch Director of the Information System Administration of the Information Service Department of the Educational Technology Head Office of the Ministry of National Education. The data were collected by a semi-structured interview. When the data were examined, the variables namely the authority decision type, the change-agent, perceived advantage and the experience were seemed to be effective on the adoption of E-School Project by the teachers.
