In this research, ‘Hay Bin Yakzan’, one of the most important philosophical novels of the history of Philosophy, which was written by the famous philosopher of Andalusi, Ibn Tufeyl (1106-1186), who cites about the nature-oriented education understanding of the Islamic world, was studied. The novel tells about how someone who grew up all alone in the forest taught himself and through which ideal processes he went through. The ideal processes in question are just like the modelling humanity has experienced. In this fantasy, the novel was created in a way so as to include the answers of the most important philosophical questioning areas. In this research, the novel was especially studied with regard to the understanding of naturalistic philosophy and naturalistic education. Naturalistic education understanding also underlies the constructivist education, which is commonly used today. In this respect, the novel has importance on today’s education philosophy. In the research, in which document review method was used, the purpose is to reveal and introduce the importance of the novel, written in the 11th century, in terms of philosophy and especially education philosophy.
