the constructivist education system, which has introduced since 2005-2006 academic years in Turkey. İn this regard, concept of ‘museum’ was examined and role of museums and modern perception of museology were highlighted. Museum-school cooperation was emphasized within several education systems all over the world. There are undergraduate and master programs on teaching museum education, in Education Facuties Obviously, having courses on teaching museum in curriculums of Education Faculties of Turkey will support education system expecting students to be engaged in learning experiences actively. Therefore, museum will be active learning platform for several courses in the peresent study, lack of teaching museum courses in Education Faculties underlined roles of museums to promote abilities that cannot be taught in classrooms and possible perminant learning effects of observing real subject in museum were discussed.
