Now in Turkey there are thirteen preparatory classes in fourteen German Language Language Teaching Divisions. Preparatory classes have been subjected to lots of chances. In this process beside the other effects target groups also have an important function. In this study in the preporatory classes of German Language Teaching Department of our university improvements of target groups were examined and the aims and the necessities of the preporatory classes were questioned.
