Study has been excuted with the purpose of bringing out the gains for model forming and using, and with the purpose of detecting model types which are intended for gains that take place in Science Course Teaching Program revised in 2013. Consequently, for this purpose, in this reseach it is benefited from document analysis that is a qualitative research design method. In the research Science Course Teaching Program revised in 2013 is used as data source. In this sense, the gains that take place in 3., 4., 5., 6.,7. and 8. Grades of Science Course Teaching Program are scanned. Detected modeling after executed scanning process has been classified by considering the model types characterized by Harrison and Treagust. Data are tabulated with hidden content codification. In the first stage for reliability, the formula reliability= consensus/ consensus+ dissidence X 100 is performed on codification made by three different researchers. Consistency between researchers is calculated as 87%. To increase reliability in the second stage researchers compared analysis they made and they have used the analysis which they agreed on in their research. For the factor of validity of study in and out validity elements are taken into consideration. Study is executed with the purpose of detecting model types which are in accordance with gains, and to bring out gains for model formation and are intended for using that are in Science Course Teaching Program revised in 2013. The results of this study obtained after the analysis of teaching program were presented as tables and graphs. The interpretation of the tables and graphs show that approximately 14% of the gains found in the Science Course Teaching Program revised in 2013 are intended for model formation and using found, this reveals an important effect of the education means on the teaching program.
