This study was conducted using a relational screening model to examine the relationship between the play interactions, peer relationships, and temperament traits of preschool-aged twin children. The research group consisted of twins (n = 60) and non-twins (n = 60) attending private and public institutions in Istanbul, Gaziantep, and Sakarya during the 2023–2024 academic year. For the data collection process, the first part of the study included questions regarding demographic information, the second part contained questions related to the “Playfulness Scale for Children,” the third part included questions from the “Child Behavior Scale,” and the fourth part contained questions from the “Short Temperament Scale.” As a result of the analyses conducted in the study, it was found that non-twin children scored higher on the social spontaneity and pleasure subscales of the “Playfulness Scale for Children.” In the “Ladd and Profilet Child Behavior Scale,” it was observed that twin children scored higher on the subscales of “Asocial Behavior” and “Fearful-Anxious Behavior,” while there were no significant score differences between twins and non-twins on any subscales of the “Short Temperament Scale.”
