In this study it is aimed to put forth the relationship between creative thinking skills and sociocultural characteristics of Turkish Language Teacher Education students. Moreover, sociocultural feature which enables prediction of creative thinking skills have been tried to be determined. The descriptive method has been used in the research. In the present study to determine the creative thinking skills of the students Torrance Creative Thinking Test A form, Verbal Creative Thinking Test were used. The sociocultural features were gathered by the forms prepared by the researchers. In the analysis of the data, in order to define the relationship between the level of creativity and sociocultural variables, corelation was calculated. Besides this, to determine the predictability power of the level of creativity by sociocultural features, stepwise regression analyes were done.
