In this study it is aimed to observe the opinions of teachers who worked in both public and private schools on the differences in classroom management. In the study, the qualification research technique is applied. The data is collected with half-configured interview form. The form is applied by a face-to- face interview method with 19 teachers with both public and private school experience and during the evaluation of the data, descriptive analysis method is followed. The teachers who participate the study expressed that the toughest subject they encountered in the public school is related to the factors due to the crowd in the classrooms. According to the teachers because of the crowd in the classrooms, the control of classroom and homework is getting difficult, not enough time could be dedicated to each student, and parents are not getting under enough responsibility in the education and not dealing with their children sufficiently. The disobeying students, spoilt or ego-centric behaviors are the worst problems of the teachers in the classroom when working in the private sectors. The most frequently seen misbehaviors in the public schools are ‘complaining from his/her friend’, ‘talking without permission’, ‘swear, using a bad slang’ whereas, in the private schools these are ‘not obeying the rules’, ‘interaction among the student during the class’ (talking in peers, etc.) and drawing or attempts of drawing attention. In this study, some points were clarified, for example the notion of classroom management the main difference between the public schools and private school (more autocracy in public, more democracy in private), the visible possibility of professional and psychological counseling and guidance help in the private schools, the difference power and the use of power in schools (More powerful teacher in public school), the more ego-centric is the student in private school, the more obeying the student is the public school and the more important is the teacher for his/her students in public school.
