Classroom management is prioritized among a range of other teacher skills. Classroom discipline is a concept more related with intervention and precaution techniques, interacting with classroom management skill. In this article, theoretical and practical information about teacher's managerial skills and authority usage in terms of classroom management will be presented. First, the classroom discipline concept will be analyzed with respect to classroom characteristics and discipline theories, and then the undisciplined behaviours will be exemplified. Following this, the "authority" concept will be theoretically examined.Likewise, preventing undisciplined behaviour and teacher with high authority and interventions will be exemplified. The concept of authority comprises teachers' personal and occupational attitude and behaviours. Teachers' authoritarian perspective and applications affect students' success as much as classroom management and his/her teaching. In this context, the analysis of the concepts "authority" and "discipline" is considered to be useful for classroom practise and implementation.
