Marketing, especially target marketing that necessitates to address the needs and wants of specific groups is of great importance for Turkish private schools. These schools offer qualified education, though, they are underrepresented in the system and they operate below their capacity. Principals-accountable for target marketing at schools- should analyse the whole market to determine the profitable segments and should strive to develop an effective marketing mix to meet the needs and wants of these segments better than their competitors. By operating this target marketing process tactfully, principals will ensure the more number of qualified enrollments, increased stakeholders' satisfaction, development of positive public image and an improvement in the quality of the whole school services.
