One of the very much stressed points in contemporary foreign language teaching is developing intercultural communicative competence of the learner through foreign language and thus enhancing him/her to share knowledge and thoughts with other individuals who speak other foreign languages, in this aspect, in this study it has been aimed at pointing on communication in the context of intercultural communication, and in this respect the place and function of body language in language learning and teaching will be discussed.
