This aim of this study is to evaluate attitudes and beliefs of high school physics teachers towards classroom management In addition, we were interested in determining differences in physics teachers' attitudes and beliefs regarding classroom management by their experiences and types of schools. For this purpose, the adapted form of the "Attitudes and Beliefs on Classroom Control (ABCC) Inventory" was administreted to 63 physics teachers who were working in private and public high schools in Diyarbakır provinces. Data were analyzed by utilizing frequencies, aritmetics means, percentages and t-tests. Results revealed that young physics teachers had a more interventionist orientation on the Behavior Management subscale, whereas they had interventionist orientation on the Instructional and People managements subscales. However, no significant difference revealed between physics teachers' perceptions of classroom management beliefs on the three subscales of the ABCC Inventory regarding experiences and types of schools.
